It is with great sadness I have to let our members know that the chairman of the trustees, the Revd Jonathan Boston, has died. He was a huge support to the Unity Committee and he will be sorely missed by us all. Jonathan was a font of knowledge (no pun intended) and was someone who gave much of his time freely and without hesitation. He was always at the end of the telephone if ever he was needed. However, it would unlikely be a short chat especially if the topic came round to one of the his pet passions, Land Rover vehicles.
He loved nothing more than being able to present a bible in St Margaret’s church Old Catton at the annual church memorial service each May.
He never let us down and it is remarkable that he has been involved with the foundation and Unity for around 50 years. That is a true dedication to charity.
